Refund policy

The principle is simple: you are never charged for a report we could not honestly produce.

If a report fails, the refund is automatic

If a paid generation fails — a data-source failure, an internal error, or a run that ends with insufficient data to build a report at all — the charge is automatically voided or refunded through Stripe. No support ticket required.

An honest answer is the product

A completed, accurately sourced report is not refundable because you dislike its conclusion. That includes the case where measured demand turns out thinner than expected but is still measurable: the report delivers that finding honestly, and you agree at checkout — before paying — that a low-volume answer is a valid paid result. Knowing a market is thin before you spend on marketing is exactly what the report is for.

Goodwill refunds

Discretionary goodwill refunds within 7 days of purchase may be granted at Bold Coast Marketing Group’s discretion — contactsupport@serviceareascout.com.

The build credit is a discount, not a refund

Separately from refunds: 100% of your Scout Report fee is applied as a discount toward a website build with Bold Coast Marketing Group, if you choose the done-for-you path.

Mechanics

Refunds are processed through Stripe to the original payment method and typically arrive within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.
