About this Scout Report — what it is, and what it is not.

Scout Reports present labeled, sourced estimates of search demand. They are not a guarantee of customers, leads, revenue, or search rankings. Every measured demand figure in a report is shown with its source, the keyword cluster and location scope it measures, and how old the data is.

A Scout Report tells you the estimated monthly searches for an explicit keyword cluster in a stated location, from a stated source and of a stated age; what the current search landscape looks like based on real SERP analysis (how many established sites, directories, or ads are present); which competitors appear in the measured local search results at the time of collection and what services or pages they list; and where you have no page targeting a keyword that shows measurable search volume.

A Scout Report does not tell you that a business is worth starting, that competition is “low,” or that you can rank easily. It does not count your future customers, tell you to launch a service, declare a town “underserved,” or project your leads or revenue. Search interest is not the same as customers, and a favorable search landscape is not the same as business success.

Inside a report we use search-demand evidence, not verdict words like “viable,” “not viable,” or “feasible.” The only place an outcome-style number appears is the ROI calculator, which runs entirely on assumptions you enter (your captured share, average job value, and close rate). Those results are illustrative math on your own inputs — not a projection, recommendation, or judgment from us.

Figures where data is thin or missing are labeled as such: “no measurable volume” means a data source returned nothing usable for that term — it does not mean nobody searches. We report these honestly rather than treating missing data as zero.

Estimates are drawn from third-party data providers and may be incomplete, delayed, or revised by the source. Market conditions change. You are responsible for your own business decisions.
